Spied: 2011 Buick Regal GS prototype

BuickRegalForum.com - Leftlane first brought you live photos of a Buick Regal GS “concept” at the Detroit Auto Show last month, but now we have acquired photos of what appears to be a nearly production-ready Regal GS on U.S. soil. At the Detroit Auto Show GM said the Regal GS was still just a concept, but we have reason to believe this concept will be coming to a showroom floor near you.

The Buick Regal GS concept was based very heavily on the Opel Insignia OPC – a hopped up sedan boasting a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 good for 325 horsepower and and zero-to-62 sprint of under six seconds.
